The Woof Gang was founded in October 2018 when a small group of experienced and excited volunteers came together to save dogs locally. We are a non-profit dog rescue, based in Manchester, Connecticut, whose mission is to save dogs at risk - from municipal shelters, from pounds, from owner surrenders, and from unwanted litters. We are completely volunteer-staffed and we rely on fosters to keep our dogs safe while we find them suitable forever homes. We are always looking for dedicated foster homes for our dogs so they can learn real-world socialization and manners. We provide fosters with everything needed to take care of a dog, all you have to do is provide a safe, temporary home and some love for an animal that may be scared or confused. As we are 100% reliant on donations and fundraising to care for our dogs, the funds raised at the Comedy Night will go directly towards veterinary care for our dogs to cover services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchips, and preventative care.
