Richard Mathis is a Midwest comedian born and raised in Battle Creek, Mi. Graduated from Battle Creek Central High school. Started his standup career doing open mics in Indianapolis, IN at Crackers Comedy Club. Won the Detroit to LA contest in 2016 at Joeys Comedy Club ran by Bill Bushart. 2017 Attended Joel Fragomini Advance Hosting Class at Ridley Comedy Castle. Richard Mathis has his own style of comedy with setups and punchlines with a urban twist. Talks about family animals and life experiences. Richard Mathis enjoys making people laugh and brightening up there day.
